Your Bahamas getaway

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! This private bungalow is solar-powered and has satellite high-speed internet. Enjoy a classic Bahamian laid-back bungalow on our hillside property with beautiful gardens and breathtaking Caribbean sea views. In just a brief walk down to the sea you can find swimming, snorkeling, and beautiful sunsets. The Atlantic Ocean and pink sand beaches are a 10-minute walk. We are located in the center of Eleuthera and the Settlement of Governors Harbour is a 10-minute drive.

The space

This one-bedroom bungalow has a fully equipped kitchen with outdoor dining on a patio that has beautiful sea and garden views. It’s the perfect spot for star gazing at night. There is a trundle bed in the living room for additional sleeping if required. There is an AC and multiple ceiling fans in the Living Room and bedroom. There is high-speed internet-starling, WIFI, TV, DVD player, and beach towels. There is parking on the property. We are eco-friendly and solar-operated and you will always be able to take a shower, make dinner, relax, and watch the stunning sunsets. You may be on an out island but nothing should be "out" at the bungalow!

Our Cats

All of our cats are rescue cats from the island. They are all friendly, vaccinated, and fixed. They are well-fed and loved, please do not feed them no matter how much they insist that they are starving orphans. EMELIO Black & White (the old guy) has a little bit of a limp because he was hit by a car when he was a kitten. He has been with us now for 8 years and is the Patriarch of the Clowder. GLORIA is the tiniest and the mother of the two collared cats. She loves to visit everyone in the entire neighborhood. We found her abandoned and pregnant in 2019! SEDONA is her daughter and sports a RED collar, she is a little Big Boned, as they say. SMUDGE is also Gloria’s daughter and has a yellow collar. She loves to climb trees and catch anything that is moving. ROCKY is our teenager who Bruce found in 2021. He was an abandoned little kitten that appeared out of a bush fire, so we brought him home. He has white paws and a quick wit.

Other things to note

Owners live full-time on the property with their 5 cats. There is a vegetable garden, bananas, sugar apples, and dillies that are abundant on the property for the picking! The owner has a 21ft sailboat which is available for local day trips. There is a canoe and kayak on the property.
